There are several programs available for qualifying first-time homebuyers. Owning a home is a good investment: it’s good for the community, the economy and your well-being.

South Dakota offers grant money for residents who are first-time home buyers who need assistance with the down payment and/or closing costs. This money comes in the form of state grants up to 3% of the purchase price, and it’s worth your time to educate yourself.
